1994-1999  Mandela was inaugurated as the first democratically elected state president of South Africa.0

Don Brady

1927  Don Brady was born at North Queensland.

1949  Don Brady was graduated.

1952  He transferred to Moree.

1962  He moved to Brisbane.

1965  He expanded his ministry to include the Christian community centre.

1968  He awarded a Churchill fellowship.

1970  Don Brady helped to form the Brisbane tribal council and elected founding vice-president of the aboriginal publications foundation.

1971  Don Brady participated in a street march.

1972  Brady encouraged young Queensland aborigines and Torres strain Islanders to protest at the aboriginal.

1984 Don Brady died.

• 1970- He helped launch a national program to attack eye disease in Aboriginal Australians.
• 1980- He was travelling all over the world.
• 1989- He knew he wouldn't live to see his ideas happen.
• 1993- He died at home.
